Gentiana Beqa known as Getta, was born on September 2nd 1982 in Gjakova, it is a town in the Republic of Kosovo. She got married on 2005 to Asdren Ahmeti, who also is her personal fitness coach and who supports her in all national and international activities. Getta has three wonderful girls; Klea Ahmeti (2006), Jora Ahmeti (2009) and Drena Ahmeti (2014).
Together they live and work in Prishtina.
Getta completed the Elementary and High School in Gjakova and started University.
She studied Physical Education and Sports at the University of Prishtina from 2001 till 2006, where, she gained the academic degree Prof. of Physical Education. Later on, she received the title of Professor of Sport Sciences and in 2011 Getta became Master of Sport Sciences (MSc.).
